Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Holy Insights (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Holy Insights is a cloud-based analytics platform designed for churches and religious organizations. The Service provides dashboards, reporting, AI-powered insights, and integrations with church management systems to help organizations track and understand their ministry metrics.

3. Accounts & Access

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Account administrators may invite additional users and assign roles with varying levels of access.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts for the same organization.

4. Subscription & Billing

• The Service is offered on a subscription basis with monthly or annual billing.
• Plans and pricing are as described on our billing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the billing period.
• Cancellation and refund terms are described in Section 5 (Cancellation & Refunds).
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts with overdue payments after a 14-day grace period.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the Service.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to paid features until that date.
• After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the free tier (if available) or become inactive.

Refunds

• If you cancel within 14 days of a new subscription or renewal, you may request a full refund for that billing period by contacting support@holyinsights.org.
• After the 14-day window, no partial or prorated refunds will be issued for the remaining billing period.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

Downgrades

• You may downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
• Features exclusive to your current plan will remain available until the downgrade takes effect.
• Data associated with higher-tier features is retained for 90 days after the downgrade, during which you may upgrade again to regain access. After 90 days it may be permanently deleted.

Data After Cancellation

Your data is retained for 90 days following cancellation or account termination, as described in Section 6 (Your Data). You may export your data before or during this retention window. You may also request earlier deletion by contacting us.

6. Your Data

• Ownership: You retain all rights to the data you input into the Service. Holy Insights does not claim ownership of your church data.
• License: You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
• Export: You may export your data at any time through the tools provided in the Service.
• Deletion: Upon account termination, your data will be retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Upload data that you do not have the right to use or share

8. AI-Powered Features

The Service includes AI-powered analytics and insights (collectively, "MAX"). These features are provided for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for ministry decisions. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

9. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms such as Planning Center. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Holy Insights and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holy Insights shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Holy Insights from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with 30 days' notice. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription. Sections 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Tennessee.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
