How this works
We compare last year's holiday attendance to the 6-week and 13-week averages leading up to it, which gives you a "lift": how much bigger the holiday crowd is than a normal week. We take last year's lead-up average, adjust it for how much your normal attendance has grown or shrunk since last year, then multiply by that lift range to get this year's projected attendance. Then we check that projected number against the 80% capacity rule: once a room passes 80% full, most people stop inviting friends, because the room already feels crowded.
